REVIEW YOUR DAMAGE CONTRACT
You made it back in one peace. The clients have loved your smooth driving. Nobody got sick and the clients have already handed you an extra $100 tip just because they liked your style. (Yea, right.) As they are getting out, make sure you turn your rear interior lights on. Once you have helped them all out of the car, tell your client that you need to review their Damage Contract with them. Grab your contract and "look" at the areas that were checked off. Make sure the windows look good. Make sure nobody put a hole in one of the leather seats. Make sure nobody threw up in the limo. Make sure nobody broke the radio. Look at the bar in the limo. Did anyone smash one of the glass holders with their foot? Once the limo has been checked for damage, initial your Damage Contract. If you find damage then have your client initial the damage. Show them the damage. If they don't want to initial their damage, call into the office and report the problem immediately. Take a picture of the damage with your cell. If the damage is sever, the police may need to be called.

COLLECT YOUR BALANCE - AT THE END OF THE NIGHT
Collect your final balance due in cash. No exceptions unless your contract states that an additional payment method is an option. If your client does not have any cash on him/her, take them to an ATM. That is a good reason why you should be keeping your client aware of the overtime charges as the night goes on.

COLLECT YOUR BALANCE - PAY AS YOU GO
Collecting your balance as you go is the easiest. When 1 AM rolls around simply let your clients know that the overtime is $100 an hour and ask them if they would like to pre pay as they go. The best way to do it is to tell them that it is company policy right at the pick-up.  Most of the time, they will be fine with it. If the client says they are staying out till 3AM but they are paid in full till 1AM, ask them right at the pick up if they would like to just settle the extra 2 hours of overtime right away. It can be very hard collecting off drunk people. Remember, the client knows this too. That is why he/she may want to collect off their friends while everyone is sober. I think I need a drink now.

LOST ARTICLES
Check the limo very carefully once you drop off. I mean sit in the back of the limo with your LED flashlight and "look" for items that are about to be left behind. You may have done the BEST job in the world but if the client leaves his/her house keys behind and they don't notice it until 5AM when they finally are done driving to their house an hour away, their night just became ruined. Often, chauffeurs just leave without looking in the back of the limo to check for damage or articles that are about to be left behind. Guys, don't be lazy. The night is almost to an end. You’re tired. And I'm tired from giving you all this good advice. Get in the back of your limo. Use an LED flashlight and clear the car out for your clients.

GET THE CLEAR TO GO WITH OFFICE
Once you are leaving you client’s house, which should be no later than 10 minutes after you have dropped off, and you have performed all of your duties and responsibilities like a good mama’s boy, send in a text to management "CLEARED." That text lets us officially know what time you "left" the clients drop-off. The purpose of this is 2 fold. #1, So we know how to calculate your overtime without having to call you on Monday and #2, if there is an emergency break down, we can re-dispatch you ASAP, so please, follow the order and send us the text when you are officially CLEARED.

HEAD STRAIGHT BACK
Any chauffeur that travels off route with a limousine without management approval may be immediately dismissed. If you’re hungry and want to get some breakfast, you ask management first. Do not just take our limousine off route or anywhere without permission. If you end up pulling into our lot 2 hours after your drop off and your travel time was only a half hour away, you will be red flagged and management will instantly be thinking your stealing from the company.

Stay away from the donuts if you want to stay away. Drink the coffee but go light on the milk. Think ENERGY.

STAY ALERT
On your way back to the office, it is very important to STAY ALERT. If you are too tired to drive back, pull over and rest your eyes. Do not drive if you are about to fall asleep. You still need to report that you are pulling over to rest. It is very important that you keep us informed. Your vehicle may have another pick up at 6AM so please, make sure to call into management, so the next pick up can be changed to a different limo.

Here are a few steps to stay awake if you’re tired:

1. Keep a cool breeze coming in the car.
2. Put on a good talk show or a good radio station.
3. Turn on an interior light. The darker it is you may want to go to sleep.
4. Eat a little bit of sugar, carbs or drink some coffee.
5. Don't just stare at the road. Move your eyes. Read things. Focus at things with your eyes and look around.
6. Call up another chauffeur on the cell phone and talk to someone.
7. Stay away from fried foods, milk and other thing that will slow down your digestive system.
8. Take your jacket off. Undo your tie. Wear loose clothing. Roll your sleeves up.
9. The BEST thing to stay awake is get plenty of sleep "before" your job.
10. If nothing is working, pull over in a safe area and get some rest. Do not keep driving.

*Now that you are heading back, let's look at your POST TRIP RESPONSIBILITIES
